They say that the average speaking rate is approximately 145 word per minute, but this is small fry for District4's first employee Kate who regularly clocks over 300wpm to the first unsuspecting member… That being said, Kate is a personal and attentive Community Builder striving to build long-term relationships with her DevOps community by cultivating an environment of transparency, support and engagement. She’s also well-versed in the world of travelling!
District4's youngest member of the team Adam is always hot on his toes arranging events, managing the Community Platform and social media accounts, bringing together professionals within our Districts. When his hands aren’t juggling more office roles than a street performer, you can find Adam putting his feet to good use on the football pitch.
After spending 5 years in Liverpool, working in the events industry, Luke moved to London to tackle the recruitment industry for the first time. He is now in the midst of building communities for the Development District, working with candidates focusing on PHP, Python and Golang. He is excited to use his knowledge of organising events to further build on the communities he has already created in his time at District4.
South Londoner born and bred, Charlotte spent 6 years in Swansea enjoying the Welsh valleys and has now returned home to tackle a new industry. She spends most of her time chatting to Developers and learning as much as possible from the people around her. With a focus on building a solid, communicative Development district within District4 – she is always open for a chat on topics from Coffee to Coding. Outside the office you’ll likely catch her baking some kind of bread, gushing over pictures of her puppy, or getting overly excited about the progress of her window garden.
After working in Apprenticeships for over 3 years and helping hundreds of young people into their first roles, Beth is excited for the challenge of recruiting experienced tech professionals into senior Development and DevOps roles. She enjoys speaking to Engineering leaders and building personal connections with them to help secure them a job they will love in order to continue their career.
From flat whites to frameworks. After spending a few years working as a barista post-graduation at Coventry University, Joe has become a recruiter for our DevOps District. Catch him at Leather Lane food market, as he attempts to try out every single stall…
